Welcome to ‘Community Matters’, Concord Rangers dedicated page for our community program at the club.
The Football Conference Trust provided a grant of £15,000 with a contribution from the Club of £7,000 to fund a community project. This enabled the Club to launch the Beach Boys Football in the Community Project in January 2014. The project to date has been successful and the team of coaches and volunteers led by the Football in the Community Director Phil Crowe have delivered a number of events and coaching sessions within local schools and the wider community. This opportunity to expand and offer additional opportunities to local children and young people through our club would not be possible without the support of the Football Conference Trust.
The Football Conference Trust is a partnership between the Football Conference , the Premier League and the Professional Footballers’ Association. The Premier League and the PFA have committed to contribute £400,000 each to the fund for three years. This fund of £2.4m is to support all Football Conference member clubs to help support and develop their community activities.
